Thrift Shopping
G'day Lovelies!!
On Friday I went around to my local thrift stores and found some pretty little treasures. I do believe that each thing I purchased was from a different store. I got a bag of assorted lace for $2.00...bargain!! a sweet crystal salt shaker for $1...I just love this sweet little salt shaker!! a small crystal vase for 50c...you can never have too many little crystal vases..and the most expensive thing I bought was a bag with some jewelery for $5.00..it had a matching diamond heart necklace and heart earings and a pink broach...
Golly....I so enjoy thrift shopping, it makes me all happy inside :) something that would make me even happier is if I could take you all with me and make a day of it...hmmm...we may need longer than a day...sigh..it's nice to dream :)

Dreamy Bedrooms
Hi Lovelies,
Well it's almost the weekend...yipppppeeeeeee!!! Are any of you up to anything special? As for me, my Mother will be coming over on Saturday and I really enjoy when she comes to visit. Mum is such a blessing to me, I love her so much and she is one very gifted and talented lady, she can do just about anything she puts her mind to and my Dad is the same, they amaze me at what they can do.
I have been meaning to take some pics of one of her bedrooms that she has recently redecorated, its so pretty! Hopefully I'll remember to take my camera the next time I visit....but please don't hold your breath my memory is shocking..hmm..what was I just talking about??..hehe..sorry lovelies, me being my silly self :)
Ok! I was just looking at Better Homes and Gardens and Country Living and came across some dreamy bedrooms that I wanted to share with you. It's inspiring me to finish my own bedroom, to make it so romantically dreamy :) How about you, do you have a deliciously romantic dreamy bedroom, if you do PLEASE!!! Let me know I would love to see it.

Kisses from Heaven
Hi Precious Peoples,
Don't you just love it when God sends His kisses from heaven?
2010 has begun to be something beautiful to me, but me being me lets the doubts and fears start to creep in and I begin to question everything, but thankfully God being God knows this and is helping me to change this.
One of my prayers has been to know that God loves me and to receive His love for me. Well, as you know, God, answers prayers! He has been showing me in everyday things, in songs, scripture, people, books and devotionals to name a few. Things that are even beyond what I have dreamed or imagined are happening and it moves me to tears at just how much He is showing me His love and how He sees me.
Today I want to share with you a devotional that I got yesterday in my email but never read until today and boy, it was exactly what I needed to hear and maybe you also need to hear. I do pray that it blesses you as it did me, allow Him to shower you in His kisses from heaven and love you as His precious and chosen Princess.
Today's Truth
"So Mephibosheth ate at David's table like one of the king's sons"
(2 Samuel 9:11 NIV).
Friend to Friend
Who in the world is Mephibosheth and what possessed his momma to give him such a name? Well, I can't answer the second question, but I can shed some light on the first. Mephibosheth was a man who was living way below his potential. He was the grandson of King Saul and the son of Prince Jonathan, but he lived like a pauper. When he was a boy, his nurse dropped him while fleeing from their enemies. As a result, he was crippled in both feet (2 Samuel 9).
When David took over as King of Israel, he wanted to know if there was anyone in Jonathan's household to whom he could show kindness. Jonathan had been David's best friend and he loved him as a brother. A servant told David about the crippled Mephibosheth, and he was summoned immediately. Mephibosheth lived in a place called Lo-Debar (meaning a pasture-less land).
My own (very unofficial) translation of Lo-Debar is "below the bar." Mephibosheth was living below the bar. He was the grandchild of a king, but he was living in a pasture-less land like a pauper. When he came before King David he said, "What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?"
David didn't even answer him. He simply turned to his servant and commanded that all the land that had been Saul's be given back to his grandson and that Mephibosheth should eat at the king's table everyday.
Perhaps you are walking around like a crippled because of something that has happened to you as a child. Perhaps you feel like a "dead dog." And yet, God is looking for ways to bless you, to restore what has been taken away, and invite you to feast at His table everyday. Mephibosheth was a grandchild of King Saul and potential heir to the throne. However, he saw himself as nothing more than a "dead dog," unworthy to receive even the smallest crumb of kindness from David. David's desire was to restore to Mephibosheth all the land that would have been his inheritance and invite him to feast at his table daily. Mephibosheth didn't see himself as he really was. In reality, he was royalty. "A dead dog?" I think not!
Do you see yourself as you really are? You are a chosen, dearly loved, child of God. You have been blessed with every spiritual blessing, delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred to the kingdom of light! You, girlfriend, are a child of the King!
Let's Pray
Dear Lord, so many times I walk around with an emotional limp like a wounded animal. But the truth is, I am a child of the King and I should act like one! Thank you for inviting me to feast at Your banquet table every morning by feeding my soul from Your Word and drinking in the Holy Spirit's power. Today, I will not limp about, but run, jump, and even dance with the joy!

Lots of Letters
Hi Sweet Peoples,
I've had a wonderful weekend and week with my two beautiful and precious nieces. We spent some of the time cutting out, painting and gluing the letters of their name. They chose the paper for their letters and did a great job I might add. Anyway this is how they turned out. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we enjoyed doing them.

Hello Sweet Peoples
Oh, it has been far to long since I have blogged. Please forgive my slackness (hmm is that even a word? hehe...is now!) Thanks to my precious friend Evana, I have a computer that is just fantastic. I did have another one before this one but I could hardly do anything on it but I was thankful for it because at least I could access emails but anyway enough of my rambling.
How have you all been? I do hope you all had a blessed and safe Christmas :) oh boy, I have missed you all, I have a lot of catching up to do, don't I?
Well sweet peoples it's nearly 2010, how fast the year went by, are you making any New Year resolutions??
Here in Aussie land it's New Years eve and I'll be spending it with my ever faithful Lily, man I would be lost without her, my precious pup indeed :) we may watch some telly and then probably have an early night. Tomorrow I'll go over to Mum & Dads and have lunch and spend some time with my nieces who are up for a couple of weeks they are such beautiful young ladies who bring such joy.
I do hope that you all have a wonderful New Year filled with love, joy and peace. I'm so glad to be back and I look forward to catching up with you all.

But sadly I'll be taking another break because my poor computer has blown
up on me, so until I can get it fixed or get another one I won't be on.

Pink Saturday!!!

I can tell you one exciting thing that happened to me recently while i was a way....I bought a new car...well a second hand car but she is in excellent condition the previous owner took such good care of her..God has blessed me indeed!! There is a downfall though...she's not pink...I know I should be ashamed of myself...hehe...
I thought is that since it's Pink Saturday and all I would do a little day dreaming with you all about all the PINK accessories I would like to purchase one of these days when I have money again..hehe.
