Letting Go

Sometimes when something ends you want to hold onto to it, because you get so scared that you'll end up alone, you think this is your one and only chance...but then you finally let it go...you have a peace in knowing that it was the right decision to make, it's His peace and somewhere way down deep inside there is hope, a God given hope.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:7

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

Hello Melly,

I know. Losing someone or something that we hold close is so hard. We feel like we can't stand on our own or that we might not bear the pain it will bring. What's worse is that the pain of thinking "what is about to happen if . . ." is far worse that the actual one.

It is hard to let go . . . . to give full trust so someone else and trust that everything will be ok. Yes, this maybe so in human understanding but not with Him. The verses you just shared gives me such comfort. And yes, everything will be ok.:-)

Mizpah,
Li

Jer 29:11 is my all time favorite verse! I was single for 13 years and always wondered what the point was.... This verse always assured me that just because I didn't know the plan, didn't mean that there wasn't a plan that God had especially for me.
His promises prevail daily!

Letting go is hard but necessary at times. I know how hard it is at the time but I look back on a few and think I am so much better for it now. Keep having hope and believe. It will all work out in time. I seem to pray for the patience to get through until God's plan works out. I get there I just have to keep hope and believe!
Hugs and prayers, Lisa
