The picture is as beautiful as the quote below it...I am happy to say that I and my husband are passing through those gates...As we buy a new home out side the city. Lovely post Melly! Tracy Thank you for your visit.
So true! I'm guilty too! LOL It's just that when you are in that moment, it is hard to see and look forward as to what is beyond. Then again, how would I know if i don't open those doors :-) I guess, it just takes me a little time to have the courage - - - eeeekkkkkkkkkkk I am such a coward. I do wish to be a bit more courageous (not too much, just a bit :-) )
Nice to see you had a beautiful vacation and safe trip. By the way, I love those flowers almost covering a part of your cousin's home. I think it is just beautiful with a touch of whimsy, don't you think?
What a wonderful post, Melly! God has hidden treasures everywhere for us if we would only take the time to look! Thank you for sharing and for your visit. I always love having you stop by. Hope you have a beautiful weekend.
I love this picture and this quote. It's so true. I am working on not being held back by others or situations. It's a work in progress though. Thanks for inspiring me!
God has given me this day to use it as I will. I can waste it - or use it for good, but what I do today is important, because I am exchanging a day of my life for it!

God's Love Letter
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
The word of God is like a mirror in that it shows us who we really are. It is like a map because it shows us where we need to go. It is like a portrait for it paints for us a picture of who God is.
~David Wallace~
Kind words are short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
~Mother Teresa~
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia~
"Have nothing in your homes that you do not know to be useful and believe to be beautiful" - ~William Morris~
Hi beautiful peoples!!!
My name is Melissa but my friends call me either Melly, Mel, Melia, Liss, Lissa or Lissy. To my family I'm Lissa or Aunty Liss.
( just a bit of useless info for you all *smiles* )
I'm a christian woman who is learning about the Father Heart of God and learning to surrender to Him ( this is not easy at times )
My hearts desire is to truly know Him and to receive His love for me.
