I'm sorry I haven't blogged for a while and I haven't visited with you. I've been struggling with some things and I know I'm not the only one who struggles with the way I see myself. Just in the past week I've visited with friends I hold very dear to my heart and I know that each one of these beautiful ladies don't like what they see, to me and to many others they are beautiful inside and out. I know that we aren't the only ones who don't like what we see, there are millions of women who dislike them selves and that's putting it nicely.
Below is a video clip and the song brings me to tears because it's like it was written just for me yet I believe that's how others feel who have heard it also. I desire for my friends, for you and for myself to see ourselves as God sees us to believe Gods truth and NOT the lies of the enemy. Heal our hearts Father teach us how to love ourselves so we can love You with all that is in us. Take our broken pieces and make them whole in You. Set us free from self loathing and mutilating for allowing ourselves to die a little bit more each day instead of living and loving as You do. Help us to see through Your eyes and love ourselves as You love us. Father as we watch and listen to this song and video clip allow it to minister to our hearts let it bring healing to everywhere we hurt, set the captives free. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
Lyrics to The Real Me : Foolish heart looks like we're here again same old game of plastic smile don't let anybody in hiding my heartache, will this glass house break how much will they take before i'm empty do i let it show, does anybody know? chorus: but you see the real me hiding in my skin, broken from within unveil me completely i'm loosening my grasp there's no need to mask my frailty cause you see the real me painted on, life is behind a mask self-inflicted circus clown i'm tired of the song and dance living a charade, always on parade what a mess i've made of my existence but you love me even now and still i see somehow but you see the real me hiding in my skin, broken from within unveil me completely i'm loosening my grasp there's no need to mask my frailty cause you see the real me wonderful, beautiful is what you see when you look at me you're turning the tattered fabric of my life into a perfect tapestry i just wanna be me but you see the real me hiding in my skin, broken from within unveil me completely i'm loosening my grasp there's no need to mask my frailty cause you see the real me and you love me just as i am wonderful, beautiful is what you see when you look at me
Outside my window...is a beautiful warm sunny day with blue skies and birds singing their sweet songs to our Lord
I am thinking...that I need to get ready for the gym, I've been naughty and haven't been for a few weeks :)
I am thankful for...all the lovely people God has brought into my life both on the net and in real life, He has blessed me indeed :)
From the kitchen...I'm cooking porridge for breakfast, in the microwave...I know I'm bad, cooking it in a pot tastes so much better :)

I am creating...at the moment I'm shabbying up a small chest of draws for a friend to give to her sister for her birthday...I'm hoping and praying it will turn out the way I want it to :)
I am going...to the gym once I've finished here and had breakfast:)

Good golly gosh I'm just about jumping out of my skin with excitement to show you my treasures. It's Saturday here in Aussie Land and this morning Mum and I went to the dump shop to see what we might find. Well, they say one mans trash is another mans treasure, this is soooooooooooooo true because I feel like I have found the sweetest treasure and yet people seen these lovelies as rubbish. I have always been shocked by what people throw away but never mind that, back to what is important and that is showing you my TREASURE!!!
Now I do know that some of you may not see it in the same light as I do and that's ok we all have different tastes :) I just want to share what has tickled me happy today :)
My Treasure!!!!!! yippppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Mum fell in love with the cross-stitch which is done so beautifully I'm sure many hours went into this beautiful piece. The glass in the frame is a non reflective glass and Mum said that it's quite a bit dearer than normal glass...so that's a bonus :)
This little plate caught my eye, it's quite worn but still pretty. Stamped on the back of it is a crown, SAJI, made in Japan, fine china and ICP-10936.
I thought this mirror was cute so I decided it would be coming home to live at my place :)
But this is what made me do back flips (please know that I didn't actually do back flips)...hehe now that would be funny..hmmm more like impossible...anyway...moving right along....I know it's not pink...golly I think I may have fainted if it was pink and even though it's not pink I still think the green is beautiful..it's a really pretty green. In the set is one large plate, one bread & butter plate, four saucers and one beautiful tea cup. It's not in the best condition there's chips and cracks but I love it all the same. Stamped on the back is MYOTT {under myott is like a coat of arms}, Staffordshire England, Florentine and then numbers stamped in gold 4597. I'll have to google all this to see what it all means, my sweet Mum says that it's a good brand. Either way I'm not bothered because I think it's gorgeous. I have been blessed with these treasures.
I hope you all liked my little show & tell, I've enjoyed sharing my finds with you all and I'm having such a blast taking the pics of everything as well. Don't you just LOVE photography!?
Oh! I almost forgot to tell you that all of this cost $10 which I thought was just super :) I'd love to hear(read) your thoughts on my treasures or just stop and say hi :)
It's an overcast and rainy day here in my part of Aussie Land and I LOVE these kind of days, like I told my sweet friend Julie at Shabbywears rainy days are romantic to me, I don't know why they just are.
I love to just stand in the rain and feel its cool kisses as each rain drop hits my face. *sighs dreamily*
Anyway enough of my rambling :D I wanted to show you some pics I took of plants and things around and near my place. The windmill and leaky guttering belongs to my neighbour who is an absolute sweetheart. I am very blessed to live where I do because I have fantastic neighbours who are also my friends as well as apart of my church family. I live in a duplex(apartment) and my neighbours relatives own the duplex and the rent is very affordable the lowest I believe in town. So God has indeed blessed me because I'm surrounded by these beautiful women of God.
I hope you enjoy the picks and have a super duper fabulicious day :)
Look at what this sweet & lovely lady at Femininity Revisited blessed me with. I am so thankful to you for your beautiful giving heart. Big hugs to you my precious blog sista. Please visit her fabulous blog I know you will be blessed.
I'm not exactly sure as to what I'm suppose to do so I hope what I do do is ok :)
The rule is that I am supposed to pass this award on to seven Kreativ Bloggers who you believe have creative and lovely blogs.
If I had my way I would be giving every blogger out there this award because you all are deserving, your blogs inspire and encourage they get your creative juices flowing and I thank you all for sharing your hearts & homes :)
God has given me this day to use it as I will. I can waste it - or use it for good, but what I do today is important, because I am exchanging a day of my life for it!

God's Love Letter
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
The word of God is like a mirror in that it shows us who we really are. It is like a map because it shows us where we need to go. It is like a portrait for it paints for us a picture of who God is.
