The Smallest Blessings Thurday!

( A close-up pic of Lily please forgive the hair in her eyes, I didn't brush her before the pic was taken..bad mummy)

This sweet little girl is my Lily, I introduced Lily not long after I first started blogging so some of you wouldn't have met her yet.
Lily has the ability to drive me up the wall with her barking..hmmm...like she's doing right now..grrr..but then she comes running into me and gives me a look and I can't help but smile. My sweet little blessing from God has changed my life so much, she can make a down day shine with the things she does, she brings me smiles, laughter, tears and drives me mad..hehe.. but more importantly she brings me love, unconditional love. I believe God has use this sweet hyperactive little fur ball to help me learn about His unconditional love.
I love my Lily girl, my little furry baby, my blessing!

Have a super sweet day!

His Princess Warrior

His Princess Warrior:
Letters to Strengthen Your Soul

"Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness and the Spirit, which is the word of God." - Ephesians 6:13-14

My Princess,

It is time by beloved to get dressed for battle. I am recruiting you my chosen one, to fight the good fight. You are more than my princess; you are my "Princess Warrior". I have not called you to a life of comfort. I called you to combat and adventure!
I know there will be times you feel as if there is no fight left inside of you. But take comfort my love; in your moments of weakness call to me, I will dress you with my mighty spiritual armor. You will feel my spirit rise up inside your soul and you will experience the passion needed in that hour to persevere in any battle. In my power you will have the strength to face every spiritual giant. Now, cloth yourself in my righteous by obeying my word and put on every piece of my armor. Your battles won will become the blessing of all generations

Love your King,
Who fights for you

The Heart of God

In the eleventh chapter of Hosea, as God laments over His people's waywardness, we gain a marvelous insight into the heart of God. In verse four we read, "I drew them with gentle cords, With bands of love, And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them." NKJV

There are five things we discover about God’s heart from the words of Hosea.

1. I drew them... Even when we are trying to pull away from God, He is drawing us back to Himself. God's heart does not push us away, ignore us, or block us from coming to Him. There is a cord of grace and kindness that is extended to us, a lifeline to His heart. God's desire for us is to be with Him, to know Him, and to be cared for by Him.

2. With gentle cords... God doesn't yank the cord He uses to draw us to Himself. He is patient with us. He waits for us to respond to His gentle tug upon our hearts. His does not attempt to overpower us; He comes to us meekly, peaceably and full of mercy.

3. With bands of love... The bands of God that He places around us are not made of rope to burn us, or iron to bruise us, or thorns to cut us; they are bands of love to hold us, to restore us, and to heal us. He tenderly longs to hold us as a father holds a child to his cheek.

4. I took the yoke from their neck... The heart of God wants to free us, not bind us. There is no freedom for us until His power releases us from all bondages, fears, and enslavements of sin. His Father's heart could never leave us helplessly yoked to any enemy of His love.

5. I stooped and fed them... What a picture of the heart of God -- the Almighty, the Creator, the One who is above all and over all, bends down to us like a father bends down to pick up a crying child. He bends down so we can see His tender look, His caring expression, and His soft smile. Then, as we find comfort and assurance, He lifts us--to meet our needs, to calm our fears, and to draw us ever nearer to His heart.

Making Some Pretties

G'day Sweet and Lovely Peoples!

I do hope you all had a beautifully blessed Mothers Day!? I also think we should have "Love On EVERYONE EVERYDAY" for everyone:). I feel it would be wonderful if we appreciated and loved on each other and made each other feel like Kings & Queens, Princes & Princesses, just because! What do you reckon?? Do you think it would catch on???
Anyway I'm going to step off my soap box before I fall off or break it...hehe :)

I wanted to share with you a couple of pretties I've been having a blast doing, oh, how I've missed creating.

1st is the letter M for MAGNIFICENT...hehe I painted one side white and sanded the edges for a shabby look and the other side I applied some really pretty pink scrap booking paper on and then I varnished the whole thing..I think it turned out quite nice even if I do say so myself...hehe
2nd I made a fuzzy pink heart out of a wire heart, fuzzy wool and an earing, I think it's quite sweet, what do you all think???

I also tried to give it an aged look as well.

Isn't that just the sweetest pink paper on my M??

A warm and fuzzy pink heart...sigh...

I loved the way they turned out so I made an M & a white fuzzy heart for Mum for Mothers Day and made a H for a friend for her birthday...sorry I didn't get pics but believe me they looked pretty too.

I hope you enjoyed my little show and tell of what I made I hope to have many more pretties to show as I get more into creating :)

Have a super duper fabulous week sweet peoples and thank you for blessing my life with your kindness:)

Happy Mothers Day & Spiritual Sunday!!

Happy Mothers Day to all you wonderful Mummies out there :)

This Spiritual Sunday I hope you don't mind me sharing a prayer/letter I wrote to God last year on Mothers Day. For many years as Mothers Day approached my heart would just ache so much it was crippling. This year I don't have that same ache I believe God heard my cry and is healing my heart. What a wonderful loving Father we have He truly deserves all the glory and praise.

We have a God that answers prayer, thank You Father!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Father I need Your help this day, my tears fall as my heart aches for the precious unborn baby I lost 20 years ago. I know she's there with You and I know there is no better place for her to be, but Lord, my arms are empty and I miss her, I miss that I never got to meet her and hold her, to see her smile and watch her grow, or hear her giggles and the words "I love you mummy." Oh how precious those words are, how they must be like music to a mothers heart.
Father please help me to not let this cripple me anymore when my arms feel so empty and when I see other mothers with their children, help me to not feel sorry for myself or envious at what I don't have but to rejoice in the fact that she has never shed a single tear, felt pain or sadness, to know that my little one has only ever known Your love, a pure and beautiful love, a love everlasting, a love unconditional. I want to be thankful that for a moment in time You entrusted a precious life to me the life of my unborn baby, Abigail Grace.
Father God help me to always imagine her there in Your presence, singing Your praises and dancing with angels, basking in the splendor of Your Love. Let this and knowing that when You call me home we will both be together rejoicing and glorifying the awesomeness of our Father God. May this knowledge heal this Mothers heart.
Thank You my Loving Father for hearing my prayer.
Amen
Psalm 147
1 Praise the LORD.
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2 The LORD builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4 He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
The Smallest Blessings Thursday!
Kindness
1. (n.) The state or quality of being kind, in any of its various senses; manifestation of kind feeling or disposition beneficence. 2. (n.) A kind act; an act of good will; as, to do a great kindness.
Noah Webster's New International Dictionary of the English Language
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Today I was thinking about what I'm thankful to God for and it's kindness. I have been the recipient of kindness by family, friends both offline and online and by strangers. The kindness of another person is something that is beautiful, it makes your heart glad, you feel special, thought of, cared for, appreciated, loved and so much more. Kindness is contagious, it spreads its wings and flies, touching the hearts and lives of all who are open to receive it and sometimes it's given back and or passed on to another. The kindness of another can soften a hardened heart, it can bring healing and hope. It doesn't have to be anything big, it can be as simple as a smile. Kindness doesn't have to cost a cent but I can tell you that it is a gift that is precious and one to be treasured. Lets spread some kindness to a hurting world you just never know how much impact that your kindness can have on another, it could save a life. It's no wonder kindness is a gift from God.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Colossians 3:12
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thank you for your kindness, it has blessed my heart and lifted my spirits more than you know.
May you be a recipient of kindness each and everyday
:)
